Our client is a leader in providing solutions-based information technology services to the Department of Defense (DoD), and we are currently seeking highly experienced Software Test Engineers with knowledge of Mercury Loadrunner, SOATest, Mercury Test Director, iTKO LISA, web services, enterprise architectures (eg. SOA), web portal functions and controls, and distributed software development platforms.
Successful candidates will be actively involved in:
• Developing and documenting program test strategies and detailed test plans
• Analyzing system features and functionality and determining the best approach and techniques to test (black box, white box, stress/load, data integrity, security, automation)
• Creating level of effort (LOE) and duration estimates for test events and tasking
• Developing test and certification strategies for DoD systems, services and software
• Developing and enforcing compliance to testing standards
• Providing support to the development of evaluation criteria commensurate with the software development life-cycle (SDLC) stages
Bring your knowledge and enthusiasm for complex system testing and play a critical role in developing tomorrow’s DoD information systems strategies. LCE is looking for self-starters who meet the following criteria:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related major, or six plus years working with information systems
• A minimum of five years related systems testing experience
• Two – four years experience with Mercury Loadrunner, iTKO LISA, SOATest and Mercury Test Director
• Demonstrated proficiency in software testing concepts
• Extensive knowledge and understanding of complete SDLC methodologies
• US DoD “Secret” security clearance or the ability to obtain one by way of background check
Candidates with the following qualifications will be given additional consideration:
• Three – five years experience in the test and evaluation of enterprise architectures
• Working knowledge of CollabNet Sourceforge Enterprise, Subversion, CollabNet CUBiT, VMWare, and PKI
• In-depth knowledge of DoD IA Directives to include DoDD8500.1, DoDI 8500.2, DoDD/I 8530.1/.2, CJCSI/M 6510.1, the NSA/IATF, and CC Protection Profiles (PP) for TCSEC Level “C2” Controlled Access
• Knowledge of DoD/military command structure to include all military branches.
Ideal candidates will be expected to support multiple DoD programs which currently include the Net-Enabled Command Capability (NECC), Net-Centric Enterprise Services (NCES), Consolidated Afloat Network and Enterprise Services (CANES), Joint Service Explosive Ordnance Disposal (JEOD), Joint Counter Radio-Controlled IED Electronic Warfare (JCREW), DoD Explosives Safety Board (DDESB), and the Global Information Grid (GIG) Federated Development and Certification Environment (FDCE).
