Our client is a leader in providing solutions-based information technology services to the Department of Defense (DoD), is currently seeking highly experienced Developers with knowledge of Java EE/J2EE, VMWare, Windows Server 2003, Linux, Mongrel Web Server, Rails, Ruby Gems, Ruby, and MySQL. Successful candidates will be actively involved in:
• Developing custom components and data interfaces, and integrating portal frameworks with existing architectures, platforms, front-end, back-end and legacy applications
• Working with customers to design new or modified portal content according to program requirements
• Create level of effort (LOE) and duration estimates for development increments/spirals and tasking
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related major, or six plus years working with information systems
• Two plus years of development experience using Portal technologies like JBoss Enterprise Portal Platform, Weblogic Portal Server, and Websphere Portal Server
• Working knowledge of VMWare Virtual Infrastructure 3, PKI, Windows Server 2003, Linux, Apache, Mongrel Web Server, Rails, Ruby Gems, Ruby, MySQL
• Working knowledge of Service Oriented Architectures (SOA) and web services
• U.S. DoD “Secret” security clearance or the ability to obtain one by way of background check
Candidates with the following qualifications will be given additional consideration:
• 4-5 years of experience in programming in Portlets, Java, JSP, EJB, servlets, C/C++, XML, Shell-scripting, Tuxedo, Websphere/Weblogic, SQL, and Oracle
• Background in federation and identity management technologies such as SAML/LDAP;
• In-depth knowledge of DoD IA Directives: DoDD 8500.1; DoDI 8500.2; DoDD/I 8530.1/.2; CJCSI/M 6510.1; the NSA/IATF; CC Protection Profiles (PP) for TCSEC Level “C2” Controlled Access
• Knowledge of DoD/military command structure to include all branches of the Armed Services
